Hull woman claims to be UK's best sales consultant

A businesswoman from Hull has claimed that she is "probably" the best sales consultant in the UK.Being the best sales consultant in the UK is a lofty claim to make, but one businesswoman has claimed that she could "probably" claim the title.

According to the Hull Daily Mail, Nicky Pattinson, a self-made businesswoman from Yorkshire, has helped numerous local firms and larger brands, including Nike and Rolls Royce, to improve their sales.

She explained that any business attempting to sell in the same way they did 20 years ago should not be surprised if they enjoy limited success.

Indeed, she claimed that the best way to achieve results is through a firm understanding of the products and business that allows companies to then connect with their customers.

Ms Pattinson explained that the most successful sales professionals will have realised the importance of the emotional impact of a product or service and the way in which this can help to drive a business.

"I could never understand why people thought selling was a less than honourable profession. To me it's the most exciting thing in the world, the most creative thing you can do with your life," she enthused.

Elsewhere, speaking at the recent online branding and social media workshop hosted by the Internet Advertising Bureau, Bradley Little, head of NM Incite, said that in order to drive business performance, firms should now be looking at the wider picture of strategic planning in sales and brand awareness.
